This is not my photo
I have been to IMATS once before back in 2013 and decided I wanted to go again this
year. So me and my mom booked tickets and a hotel and the day couldn't come
quick enough. But when I got there I was a bit disappointed by the whole thing.
There wasn't as many stalls and brands as last time and although it is a trade show
a lot of the bigger brands such as Urban Decay weren't discounted unless you
were a makeup student or had a pro card. Despite this I did pick up some items from
a variety of brands so I thought I would share them with you.
The first stall I went to was Tilt cosmetics as I noticed they were selling the
Ben Nye loose powders. I picked up the 3oz translucent powder for £8.21 and the
1.5oz fair powder for £5.21. I decided not to get the banana powder as it wouldn't
of suited my complexion. From Tilt cosmetics I also picked up a large
Z Palette for £16.95 for my loose makeup products.
When I spotted NYX I knew I had to get something from there, so I queued up for
20 minutes to get what I wanted. I picked up 3 soft matte lip creams in; Antwerp,
Tokyo and Canne for £4.95 each. I got 1 butter gloss in Eclair for £4.50 and a liquid
suede cream lipstick in Soft Spoken for £5.85. I picked up some fresh face blotting papers
for £4.50 a beautiful ombre blush in Mauve Me for £8.10 , a sculpt and highlight
brow pencil for £7.20 as well as a micro brow pencil in blonde for £6.30.

My final stop was the Urban Decay stall which I orginally wanted the Naked concelaer
but they were all sold out of my shade. So instead I purchased the Beached bronzer
in sunkissed for £20 and the Naked basics 2 palette for £23.
If you are interested in the other makeup and items I bought then make sure
you read my next post on Wednesday to find out what I bought!
