Collection Cosmetics recently released 3 new face primers and 1 new eye primer
just over a week ago. I only managed to get my hand on the face primers as the eye
primer was out of stock. As I haven't yet seen any reviews on these I thought
I would give my own opinion on what I think of the new primers from the drugstore.
There are 2 illuminating primers, one is called cool rose which is a more pink
based primer and one called warm apricot which once applied has a more gold/
champagne undertone to it. I like these because they do add a glow
to the skin but however I do not like how they aren't as illuminating as some
other primers I picked up at the same time. I think to get a better glow
to the skin, you would have to apply several layers which could end up doing
the opposite of what a primer should and possibly make your makeup look cakey.
The matifying pore minimising primer is silicone based which a lot of people do
not like when wanting a primer however I don't mind it as I find they
work a lot better on the skin and smooth over any pores and give a flawless
look to the skin. This hasn't become my favourite over the Benefit porefessional
but it is up there with one of my favourite pore minimising primers.
