Winter Essentials

This is not my photo

Winter officially starts next week, but here in England it feels like it's been winter for quite a while
now. Winter for me screams Christmas, being cosy and watching films. I love to read these
sort of posts and I do these for each season so I wanted to make sure I did one for winter.

Sleek barekissed illuminator (monaco) - In winter I have less than a glow than I do in summer, so I like to use liquid highlighters underneath my foundation to create a natural but glowy look. This is from Sleek and is a beautiful shade in the winter as it has a slight rosy tint to it. I use this with a small stippling brush on the tops of my cheeks, nose, forehead, chin and cupids bow (the same place I'd have a powder highlight).

Urban Decay naked basics palette - In winter I like to have either a dramatic eye or something super neutral. This palette has 6 shades that can be worn both day-night. This would be a great palette to use on Christmas day and for Christmas parties as it contains super easy and blendable shades.

Mac lipstick (twig) - For winter I like to have a lipstick that is both natural yet bold. This lipstick in twig is both as it a super pigmented intense colour but as it is a brown with a pink undertone it is still natural looking. This would also go great paired with the Urban Decay naked palette and a glowy skin look.

Christmas Pajamas - I've been wearing Christmas pajamas since October but they're a must have item to have. These ones are my favourite and they are from H&M. They are white with red Christmas patterns all over in a legging form which makes it super comfortable to wear.

Christmas films - Obviously in the winter season you have to watch Christmas films. This year I have wrote down a list of films to watch on each day until Christmas day. My favourites are; Elf, Christmas with the Kranks, Love actually and the Nativity series.
