Loreal is a high end brand with a drugstore price. Their products are incredible and such
high quality that it is hard to believe how affordable they are. Loreal have recently released a
range of stick foundations alongside a bunch of other new releases. As soon as I saw these on
the Boots website I ordered them. I was so excited to try this out, because there aren't really any foundations in stick form that are available at the drugstore.
These foundations were released at the end of December to Boots and Superdrug for only
£8.99. Unfortunately there are only 12 shades available currently with the majority of shades
being or light skin tones, which I hope they expand on soon. This foundation claims to be highly
pigmented with a super creamy, buildable and blendable formula whilst lasting 24 hours.
My first impression when using this foundation was very disappointing. I originally tried this
on the back of my hand to test out the formula and was very impressed, however when I tried
this on my face I noticed a lack of coverage where it blended into nothing. Since this claims
to be highly pigmented, I was disappointed with the coverage. Despite this I was impressed
with the formula and how creamy it was upon application.
Overall I would score this a 5 out of 10, because the coverage was not what ti claimed
to be but the formula was super creamy and easy to apply to the face. If you are interested
in trying this foundation out, it can be found in Boots and Superdrug both online and in store.
Have you tried this out, if so what do you think?
