Go To Autumn Makeup Routine

Autumn is my favourite season. Not only because the nights get darker sooner, and rust and
burgundy colours come back, but also because I can wear more dramatic makeup
and experiment more with my makeup looks.

Although this looks like an excessive amount of makeup, a lot of it is what I use
for my eye shadow to get the perfect eye look.

My face and base routine stays the same a lot of the time. For primer I use the Benefit
porefessional as I have quite bad pores and this works great at covering them
and hiding them. I use the Revlon colourstay foundation as it has great
coverage that isn't too heavy. I mix the Rimmel wake me up concealer and the
Collection lasting perfection concealer together to give the best
brightening look but still covers everything I need it too. To set I use the powder from
the Soap and Glory kick ass concealer kit. To make sure my makeup stays
in place I use the MUA pro base fixing mist, which I use after my foundation and
after my entire makeup is finished.

To add some colour back into my face I use the Rimmel sun shimmer bronzer around
the high points of my face. To add some definition and shape to my face
I use The Body Shop honey bronzer as a light contour. My all year go to blush is
the MUA mosaic blush in english rose as it is the perfect shade for all seasons.
I use the MUA undress your skin highlighter in iridescent gold, as it ties together the whole look.

My favourite eye shadow look at the moment is using the Tanya Burr hollywood eye palette.
I did a review on this which you can check out here. For a base I use the on and on bronze cream
shadow from Maybelline. Then I use the shade gold coin from the palette all over the lid,
and the shade bookworm in the crease and lower lash line. I then take the MUA pearl eye shadow in
shade 30 in the outer half, and the MUA matte eye shadow in shade 19 in the outer corner
for some extra definition. The perfect inner corner and brow bone highlight in the MUA pearl
eye shadow in shade 1 as it isn't it too overwhelming but has the perfect amount of shimmer.

For mascara I use my trusty natural collection lash build mascara for both length and volume.
For my eyebrows I have started using the Tanya Burr perfect brows palette and the shade pebble
mixed with a little bit of hot cocoa. To make sure they stay in place I use the
Collection colour lash mascara in clear. For the perfect lip colour that doesn't distract from
the eyes I use the Loreal nude lipstick by JLO, as it is a great everyday shade.
